Hi everyone, I’m writing to you today to ask for support as I navigate some challenges with my mental health. I’m currently on day 2 at my PHP program and Its the best decision ive made for myself. I’m empowered to share some personal updates as I continue on my health journey: I’ve been managing additional medical issues and diagnoses, including Fibromyalgia. Recently, I’ve had some medical events that I’m diligently working to understand with my doctor. With May being Fibromyalgia Awareness Month, I encourage riders to show their support by incorporating a purple ribbon while riding or racing throughout the month. As someone living with this disease, it would be a tremendous boost to see all my supporters wear purple in support of me AMBER-SLM Photographer Mx101 💞🫶🏼

January 2024 was my Gastric Bypass, any normal person with a significant weight loss would feel FANTASTIC! As for me, I have felt like i aged mentally and physically by 30 years. After finally having a PCP listen to me, blood work ups, various testings and speciality docotor visits…. I finally have answers- Fibromyalgia has become apart of my chronic and painful life. As I am still not fully knowledgeable on this chronic disease, below is a small “recap” of what my daily life has become.

Also, a little photo recap of my weightloss Journey.

“Chronic widespread body pain is the primary symptom of Fibromyalgia (fi·bro·my·al·gi·a) . Most people with Fibromyalgia also experience moderate to extreme fatigue, sleep disturbances, sensitivity to touch, light, and sound, and cognitive difficulties. Many individuals also experience a number of other symptoms and overlapping conditions, such as irritable bowel syndrome, Migraines, and Interstitial Cystitis”.

This Friday 11/22/2024 I will be at the Epping Walmart helping this foundation collect toys and bring HOLIDAY SPIRIT! So, this Thursday 11/21/2024 I will be heading out to purchase any toys with donations received and documenting all of our support. I am also collecting any toy donations as well this week!
